Billie Marie Smith age 97 of Delta passed away, Monday, February 29, 2016 at the Chaffee Nursing Center.

Billie was born on January 27, 1919 to the late William and Ida Snider Birkman near Whitewater.

She married Willard Wayne Smith on March 21, 1936 and he preceded her in death on September 11, 1992.

She is a member of the First Baptist Church in Delta.

Survivors are a brother William Brikman Jr. of Advance; a daughter-in-law Janet Smith of Cape Girardeau and a son –in-law Leland Graviett of Farmington; Five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren.

Besides her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by 1 son, Jerry W. Smith and 1 daughter Sandra Graviett; 5 sisters and 1 brother.

Friends may call after 4:00 pm Friday, March 4, 2016 at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee until 8:00 pm.

The Funeral will be at 10:00 am Saturday, March 5, 2016 at the funeral chapel with the Rev. Kenny Martin officiating.

Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
