John Menz, Sr.

John Menz Sr, age 90, of Chaffee passed away Thursday, March 10, 2016 at the family home.

He was born in Randles, Missouri to the late Joseph and Sarah Smith Menz. He married Dorothy L Gramlisch on January 13, 1947 and she preceded him in death on May 2, 2009.

He was retired from construction and was a former welder. John was saved in the Randles Pentecostal Church.

John is survived by a son, Jay Menz of Chaffee, MO; 2 daughters, Shirley Barber and Elizabeth Williams both of Chaffee, MO; a sister Geraldine Lancaster of Randles, MO; 6 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by a son, Billy Joe, four Brothers and a sister.

Friends may call after 4:00 p.m. on Monday, March 14, 2016 at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee, Missouri.

Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday , March 15, 2016 at the chapel with the Rev. Jack Owens officiating.

Burial will be at Union Park Cemetery in Chaffee, Missouri
