Michele Gilmer

Mary “Michele” Gilmer, 72 of Scott City died Thursday, March 24, 2016 at the Chaffee Nursing Center in Chaffee, Missouri. She was born May 20, 1943 in Paragould, Arkansas to Adam John and Stella Janice Norton Glazier. She married William Clinton “John” Gilmer on December 15, 1965 in Paragould, Arkansas. He preceded her in death on November 23, 2014.

She was an assistant cashier at Security Bank and Trust and she was a member of Scott City First Baptist Church.

She is survived by a son; Tom (Tracey) Gilmer of Scott City; two daughters, Tricia (Jeff) Curnell and Susie Gilmer both of Scott City; a brother, Dr. Adam “John” Glazier of Fargo, North Dakota; 4 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 pm on Friday, March 25, 2016 at the Amick-Burnett Chapel in Scott City.

Funeral service will be at 11:00 am on Saturday, March 26, 2016 at the chapel with Rev. Jeremy Sells officiating.

Burial will be in Lightner Cemetery in Scott City.
