Ellen Jones

Ellen Louise Jones age 57 of Chaffee passed away on Tuesday, March 22, 2016, at Southeast Health in Cape Girardeau.

She was born on March 8, 1959 in Belleville IL, to the late William and Margaret Covert Jones.

She loved all kinds of crafts, staying up on the latest Facebook happenings and her most important things were her family, especially grandkids and great grandson.

Ellen worked as a Hospice Nurse-Aid for Crown Hospice in Cape Girardeau for 6 years. She worked as a supervisor at Genesis Home Health in Cape Girardeau for 5 years.

Survivors are one son, James (Hannah) Jones of Chaffee; two daughters Rebecca (Terry) Stephens and Sherri (Dustin Recar) Berry both of Chaffee; two brothers, Daniel and Robert Jones of Chaffee; Five grandchildren and one great grandchild.

She was preceded in death also by two brothers and one sister.

There will be a Celebration of Life on Wednesday, March 30, 2016 At Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee.

Friends may call after 4:00 pm. Service will be at 7:00 pm. Rev. Ottis Long will be officiating.
