Ray Corn

Ray Corn, 82 of Overland, Missouri died Sunday, March 27, 2016 at DePaul Hospital in Bridgeton, Missouri. He was born on May 2, 1933 in Scott City, Missouri to Youal Edna and Lula Novella Phillips Corn. He married Shirley Jean Rau on November 3, 1956. She preceded him in death on March 31, 1999.

He was an inspector for Carter Carburetor in St. Louis. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps.

He is survived by a son; Ray (Sue) Corn, Jr of Troy, Missouri; two daughters, Linda Hill and Mary Lamb both of St. Louis; a sister, Carol Corn of Scott City; eight grandchildren, five great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two brothers and a great grandchild.

Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the time of service on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at the Amick-Burnett Chapel in Scott City.

Funeral Service will be at 1:00 pm on Saturday at the chapel with Rev. Rennie Phillips officiating.

Burial will be in Lightner Cemetery with full military honors.
