Derek Robbins

Derek Michael Robbins, 34 of Scott City died Saturday, April 16, 2016 in Scott City. He was born November 9, 1981 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri to Daniel Edward Robbins and Jama Dawn Loines. He married Brandi Jolene Bailey on December 16, 2005 in Advance, Missouri.

He was a fabricator/welder at Schaefers’ Electric in Scott City. He was a member of the A Frame Church in Bell City, Missouri.

He is survived by his wife; his parents, Jama & Dan Wright of Advance and Danny & Brenda Robbins of Paris, Tennessee; a son, Brooks Robbins of the home; two brothers, Chase Wright of Advance and Spencer Robbins of Paris, Tennessee; two sisters, Kerri Atwill of Paris and Megan Exler of St. Louis.

Visitation will be from 11:00 am until the time of service on Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at the Amick-Burnett Chapel in Scott City.

Funeral service will be at 2:00 pm at the chapel with Rev. Ted Stone officiating.

Burial will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Bell City.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
