Venta Berneice Davis age 80 of Chaffee passed away on Sunday, April 24, 2016 at The Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau, MO.

She was born on May 6, 1935 in Conran, MO to the late Robert E and Alice Garrison Curtis.

Berneice married Harley Eugene “Pete” Davis on November 7, 1952, and he preceded her in death on November 20, 2001.

She was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Chaffee; Berneice was a retired cafeteria Manager at Jackson R2 District School in Jackson, MO.

Survivors include; One son, Ronnie (Billie) Davis of Chaffee, MO; one Grandson Davey (Misty) Davis of Glen Allen, MO; 2 great grandsons and one great granddaughter; three brothers, Robert (June) Curtis of Dexter, MO; Claude (Lavetta) Curtis of Chaffee, MO; Charlie (Jeannie) Curtis of East Cape, IL; two sisters, Virginia Ash of Puxico, MO and Janeth (Lindy) Moss of San Antonio, TX.

Friends may call after 4:00 pm on Wednesday, April 27 at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee.

Funeral will be at 10:00 am Thursday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee. Officiating will be the Rev. Lynn Ash. Burial will follow at Union Park Cemetery in Chaffee, MO
