Alice Sauceda

Alice Mae Sauceda, 75, of Oran, died May 15, 2016 at the family home.

She was born on June 22, 1940 in Parma, MO, to the late John Thomas and Bertha Miller Daniels. Alice married Juan Sauceda on July 16, 1959 in Oran, MO and he survives.

She worked on the production line for Hammond Organ, was a machine operator at Columbia Sportswear, and was a CNA with The Visiting Nurses Association in Sikeston, MO. She was of the Pentecostal faith and was a foster parent for 10 yrs.

Survivors include her husband, two sons, Tony (Cindy) Sauceda of Sikeston, MO; Clayton (Michelle) Sauceda of Oran, MO; three daughters, Deborah Stroud of Poplar Bluff, MO; Donna (Johnny) Thurman of Oran, MO; Pam (Robert) Williams of Oran, MO; four brothers Joe Wesley (Juanita) Daniels, Oran, MO; John Thomas Daniels of Oran, MO; Terry (Joann) Daniels of Cape Girardeau, MO; Robert Dean Daniels of Jackson, MO; four sisters, Katherine Daniels of Oran, MO; Shirley (Jerry) Pirtle of Perkins, MO; Effie (Gene) Dodd of Morley, MO; Bertha (Charles) Griswell of Oran, MO; 20 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren and many foster grandchildren

She was preceded in death by one son John Sauceda Jr, 4 brothers, Wilburn, Sherman, Luther and J.R. Daniels and one sister Helen Cato.

Visitation will be at 5:00 pm on Tuesday May 17, 2016 at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran, MO.

Funeral Service will be at 2:00 pm on Wednesday at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran, with the Rev. Rick Lovall officiating.
