Wanda Johnson

Pauleta “Wanda” Johnson, 67 of Cape Girardeau, Missouri died Friday, May 20, 2016 at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. She was born November 26, 1948 in East Prairie, Missouri to Lacey and Mary Brock Johnson.

She was a hard worker and had various jobs during her life.

She is survived by two sons, Jeff (Hollie) Riley of Jackson, Missouri and Jessie Bailey of Heber Springs, Arkansas; a daughter, Threasa Vandeventer of Springfield, Illinois; two brothers, Frank Johnson and Kenny Johnson of East Prairie; two sisters, Vickie Johnson of Satellite Beach, Florida and Joan Holland of Charleston, Missouri and seven grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Luther and David Johnson and an infant sister.

Visitation will be from 9:00 am until the time of service on Monday, May 23, 2016 at Amick-Burnett Chapel in Scott City.

Funeral service will be at 10:00 am on Monday at the chapel with Pastor Delbert Mueller officiating.

Burial will be at Lorimier Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel to help with funeral expenses.
