Susan Criddle

Susan Kay Criddle, 61, of Arbor, passed away on Friday, May 20, 2016 at the family home, after a long courageous battle with breast cancer.

She was born December 14, 1954 in St. Louis, Missouri, to Phillip Eugene “Gene” and Enid Alice Campbell Schearf. She married John Clifford Criddle on October 20, 1972 and he preceded her in death on August 18, 2013.

Susan worked as a seamstress for Thorngate, Ltd in Cape Girardeau, Missouri until she retired. She really enjoyed being a homemaker and taking care of her family. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Delta, MO.

Survivors include her parents; one son, Jason Scott (Terri Gramlisch) Criddle of Delta, MO; one daughter, Ami Nicole (Rev. Joshua) Andrews of Marble Hill, MO; one sister Cindy Lynn (Pastor Mitchell) Jackson of Sikeston MO; Nine grandchildren, Aaron Christopher (Kaela) Criddle, Harley Rhea Criddle, and Jesse Shayne Criddle; Ashley Nicole Andrews, Phillip Austin Andrews, Isaac Scott Andrews, and Olivia Kaylene Andrews; Devon Taylor Gramlisch and Kinsey Nicole Gramlisch.

Besides her husband she was preceded in death by her brother, Garry E Schearf.

Friends may call after 4:00 pm, Monday, May 23, 2016 at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee, MO.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 am on Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at First Baptist Church Delta, MO. With Pastor Mitchell Jackson and Rev. Joshua Andrews officiating. Burial will be at Kenyon Cemetery near Delta, MO.
