He retired after 33 years with the Laborers Local 1104 in Cape Girardeau. He was a member of Elks Lodge # 639 of Cape Girardeau and Eagles Aerie 3319 of Sikeston.
He is survived by his wife, Wanda; a son, Greg (Suzanne) Innis of Millington, Tennessee; three daughters, Cindy (Jim) Bruce of Bullhead City, Arizona, Deborah (Robert) Haynes of Jonesboro, Arkansas and Cheryl Ann (Michael) Moore of Barnhart; a brother, David (Patricia) Innis of Arnold, Missouri; seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Jeffrey Owen; a daughter, Teresa Susan Innis and two grandsons, Nicholas Innis and Scott Ford.
Most important loves of life was his wife, children and grandchildren. He loved to hunt, fish and the St. Louis Cardinals.
Visitation will be from 4:00 -8:00 pm on Thursday, May 26, 2016 at the Amick-Burnett Chapel in Scott City.
Funeral service will be at 10:00 am on Friday at the chapel.
Burial will be at a later date in Lightner Cemetery in Scott City.
