Jewell C. Fowler

Jewell C. Fowler, 94 of Scott City died Monday, May 30, 2016 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. She was born December 10, 1921 in Delta, Missouri to Otis Millard and Bertha Kynion Smith.

She was of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by two sons, Mike Fowler and Dale Bollinger of Scott City; three daughters, Nadine (Bill) Scoggin and Betty (Dennis) Thomas of Hillsboro, Missouri and Becky Whitlatch of Scott City; two sisters, Myrtle Steimle and Annie Cobb of Chaffee; nine grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Christine Bollinger; two brothers; three sisters and a grandson, Scotty Thomas.

Visitation will be from noon until the time of service on Friday, June 3, 2016 at Amick-Burnett Chapel in Scott City.

Funeral service will be at 2:00 pm on Friday at the chapel with Jimmy Smiley officiating.

Burial will be in Lightner Cemetery in Scott City.
