Janice Payne

Janice Faye Payne, 72 of Whitewater, Missouri passed away Monday, May 30, 2016 at her home.

She was born February 13, 1944 in Vinita, Oklahoma to the late Ray and Leora Chamberlain Marquis. She married Paul Payne on January 11, 1990 and he survives.

Janice was a great loving wife, mother and nanny. She worked for Drury Enterprise in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. She was a member of the New Life Gospel Church in Scott City, Missouri.

Survivors include her husband, two sons, Rodney (Leslie) Frazier and Brian (Connie) Frazier of Sikeston, Missouri; two daughters, Melissa (Greg) Worl of Scott City, Missouri; Cassie (Rob) Schearf of Delta, Missouri; two brothers, Howard (Betty) Marquis and Donnie (Carol) Marquis of Vinita, Oklahoma; one sister, Fern Rush of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; eleven grandchildren and five great grandchildren

She was also preceded in death by, one daughter Cindy Cole Frazier; one sister Neva Drake and one grandchild and two great grandchildren.

Friends may call after 4:00 pm, Thursday, June 2, 2016 at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee, Missouri.

Funeral service will be at 10:00 am on Friday, June 3, 2016 at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. Jack Owens officiating assisted by Cletus Glueck. Burial will be at Lightner Cemetery in Scott City, Missouri with the Rev Randy Marquis handling the graveside service.
