Wendell "Wendy" Lynch, Sr.

Wendell “Wendy” Hugh Lynch, Sr., 64 of Benton died Friday, June 10 2016 at his home. He was born August 4, 1951 in East Prairie, Missouri to Noel Hugh and Dona Lee Mitchem Lynch. He married Debra Darlene Palmer on August 4, 1973 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.

He was a Diesel Mechanic for Wetterau in Charleston, South Carolina. He served in the U.S. Air Force during Vietnam as a jet mechanic.

He is survived by his wife, Debra; a son, W. Sean (Nikki) Lynch of Benton; a daughter, Jessica (Keith) Klinge of Cape Girardeau; a brother, Alfred O’Guin of Bentonville, Arkansas; five sisters, Lula Rogers, Faye Hughes and Janice Brewer of Benton, Sue Kelch of Denver, Colorado and Brenda McElroy of Diehlstadt and two grandsons, Chris and Justin.

He was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and a sister.

A memorial service will be at 10:00 am on Thursday at Unity Baptist Church in Benton, Missouri with Rev. Dennis Lowe officiating.

Burial will be in Unity Baptist Cemetery with full military honors.
