Georgia Graham

Georgia Mae Graham, 87 of Benton, Missouri died Friday, June 10, 2016 at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. She was born August 25, 1928 in Glen Allen, Missouri to Fred Victor and Ruth Aldrich Burns. She married Billy Lee Graham on January 18, 1947. He preceded her in death on February 24, 1980.

She graduated from Benton High School, was a member of the Sweet Adelines for twelve years. Served as president one year of Kelly High School PTA, active in LaCroix Methodist Church and was choir director for many years. She served as president of Senior Citizens for two years, where she was a member many years and was a member of the Red Hats Society.

She is survived by a son, Scott Lee (Deborah) Graham of Jackson; a grandson, Jason Ourth of Benton; a granddaughter, Madalyn Graham of Jackson; three great grandsons and two great granddaughters.

She was also preceded in death by four sisters, Margurite Proctor, Gertrude Schwartz, Aline Compass and Mildred Graham; a granddaughter and a great grandson.

Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the time of service on Tuesday at the LaCroix Methodist Church in Benton, Missouri.

Funeral service will be at 1:00 pm on Tuesday at the church with Rev. J.T. Thompson officiating.

Burial will be in Forest Hills Cemetery in Morley.
