Annie Cobb

Annie Lee Cobb 87 of Chaffee passed away Thursday, June 16, 2016 at Southeast Health in Cape Girardeau surrounded by her loving family.

She was born January 29, 1929 in Delta, to the late Otis and Bertha Kynion Smith. She married R.G. Cobb, and he preceded her in death on December 14, 2003.

Annie was a home maker. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Rockview. She was a member of Cape quilting club.

Survivors include three sons, Harold (Mary) Cobb and Ricky (June) Cobb, of Chaffee; Jim Cobb of Cape Girardeau; four daughters, Dixie (Dewaine) Shaffer of Chaffee; Betty (Darryl) Maschmann of Cape Girardeau; Darla Chapman of Chaffee; Sally (Danny) Hahn of Oran; one sister Myrtle Steimle of Chaffee; twenty one grandchildren; thirty four great grandchildren and fourteen great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two sons Mike and Joe Bob Cobb; two granddaughters, Cathy Cobb and Amanda Shaffer; four sisters and 2 brothers.

Friends may call after 11:00 am until the time of service at 2 pm Sunday, June 19, 2016 with the Rev. Jim Smiley officiating assisted by Rev. Gwenell Streeter at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee. Burial will be in Union Park Cemetery, Chaffee.
