Ona Mae Edwards

Ona Mae Edwards age 87 of Chaffee, passed away Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at her home.

She was born November 19, 1928 in Gordonville, Missouri to the late William and Ada Schrader. She married Charles O. Edwards on January 25, 1946 and he preceded her in death on November 29, 1985.

Ona Mae retired as a Home Health Care worker with American Home Care in Cape Girardeau.

Survivors include five daughters, Virginia Cotner of Jackson; Ruby Smith of Florence, Alabama; Margaret Broughton and Charlotte Tilley both of Chaffee; Ruby Ann Edwards of Cape Girardeau; fourteen grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a husband and one son.

Friends may call after 12:00 noon until time of service on Sunday, July 24, 2016 at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee.

Funeral service will be at 2:00 pm on Sunday at the chapel, with the Rev. Jared Hancock officiating. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery, Jackson, Missouri.
