Dorothy Nobles

Dorothy Mae Nobles age 93 of Scott City, Missouri passed away Thursday, August 4, 2016 at Life Care Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.

She was born November 28, 1922 in Chaffee, Missouri to the late Ernest and Ida Mae Williams Crump. She married Earl H. Nobles on May 19, 1944 and he preceded her in death on May 28, 2001.

Dorothy was a homemaker. She belonged to First Baptist Church of Chaffee, Missouri. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Chaffee V.F.W. post 3127.

Survivors include two sons, David (Claudia) Nobles of Batesville, Arkansas; Robert E. (Ruth) Nobles of Columbus, Mississippi; one daughter, Lori Ann (Kenny) Klipfel of Kelso, Missouri; one brother, Harold Crump of Chaffee, Missouri; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband; four sisters; two brothers and one granddaughter.

Friends may call after 11:00 am until time of service on Sunday, August 7, 2016 at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee.

Funeral service will be at 2:00 pm on Sunday at the chapel, with the Rev. Josh Boley officiating. Burial will be in Union Park Cemetery, Chaffee, Missouri.
