Ervin Glueck

Ervin S Glueck age 89 of Chaffee passed away Thursday, September 8, 2016 at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

He was born July 27, 1927 in Kelso, Missouri to the late Bernard and Hermina Catherine LeGrand Glueck. He married Joanna Kluesner on June 19, 1954 and she preceded him in death on April 11, 1999.

Ervin retired as an operator for Spartech Plastic Inc. in Cape Girardeau and a self-employed farmer. He served in the US Army during the Korean War. He was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Chaffee and was a member of the St. Ambrose Men’s Club.

Survivors include three sons Richard (Therese) Glueck of Scott City; David (Karen) Glueck and Steven (Anita) Glueck both of Chaffee; two daughters Judy (Ron) Wood of St. Louis, Missouri and Mary (Pat) Ogilvie of Hermosa Beach, California; one sister Helen Eeftink of Hazelwood, Missouri; eleven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by a brother Leon Glueck; a sister Delphine Gosche and a grandson Dallas Glueck.

Friends may call after 4:00 pm on Friday, September 9, 2016 at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee. Parish Rosary will be at 7:00 pm Friday.

Funeral Service will be 9:30 am Saturday at St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Chaffee with Rev. Randy Tochtrop officiating. Burial will be at St. Ambrose Catholic Cemetery, Chaffee. Missouri Honors will do a full Military Service.
