Joseph Sietman

Joseph Louis Sietman age 86 of Oran passed away Sunday, September 11, 2016 at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

He was born August 14, 1930 in Oran, Missouri to the late Bernard and Theresa LeGrand Sietman.

Joe was a retired laborer for Carr Textiles in Chaffee. He was in the U.S. Army stationed in Germany during the Korean War. He was a member of Guardian Angel Catholic Church in Oran. He was also a member of the Scott City V.F.W. Post 6407.

Survivors include a brother Clyde (Zexia) Sietman of Oran; a sister Rita Pearl of Jonesboro, Illinois; six nephews Bernard Sietman; Kenny Pearl; Eddie Pearl; Tim Pearl; Tom Pearl and Bobby Waters.

He was also preceded in death by one sister Mary Jane Waters; two nieces Nancy Morrison and Theresa McKinney.

There will be no visitation.

Graveside service will be at Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri at 1:00 pm on Wednesday with Rev. Randy Tochtrop officiating. Missouri Honors will do a full Military service.

In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee or to a charity of your chose.

Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee is in charge of services.
