Lenda Markowski

Lenda Lee Markowski – Lenda peacefully entered eternal life on Thursday, September 22, 2016 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Peters, Missouri after a battle with Stage 4 brain and lung cancer. Lenda was born on June 18, 1947 in Chester, Illinois to Leonard and Mary Grah Harris.

Her spirit is carried on by her mother, Mary Johnson, two children, Michael Carpenter and Michelle Carpenter, her love and best friend Michael Stahl, two grandchildren, Shaun Cothran and Samantha Carpenter, three surviving sisters, Susan Stulgin, Sandy Estes and Betsey Kurillo, and an extended family of relations and friends. Lenda was predeceased by her father Leonard Harris and her younger sister Debby Buchanan.

A memorial service will be held at First Methodist Church in St. Charles, Missouri on October 22, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to her church First Methodist Church of St. Charles, St. Peters Barnes-Jewish Hospital Patient Foundation, or the American Cancer Society in honor of Lenda L. Markowski.
