Jeremy Burgess

Jeremy William Burgess, 35 of Scott City died Saturday, October 15, 2016 at his home. He was born August 25, 1981 in Paducah, Kentucky to Barney and Donna Adams Burgess. He married Samantha Rhea Coonts on April 20, 2012 in Scott City.

Jeremy was a concrete finisher at Rose Con Concrete in Scott City.

He is survived by his wife, Samantha; his mother, Donna (Frank) Collom of Monroe, North Carolina; his father, Barney Burgess of Mayfield, Kentucky; three sons, Skylar Burgess of Benton, Kentucky, Brian Brown and Dallis Harris of Scott City; three daughters, Angela Burgess and Hannah Burgess of Benton, Kentucky and Saya Burgess of Scott City; two brothers, Troy Hobbs of Ste. Genevieve , Missouri and Mark Hobbs of Bradenton, Florida; maternal grandmother, Marie Malm of Lancaster, South Carolina; paternal grandmother, Shirley Burgess of Paducah, Kentucky and father and mother-in law, Danny (Mary) Coonts of Scott City.

Memorial service will be at 11:00 am on Wednesday at the Scott City Park horse shoe pavilion.
