Mildred Cook

Mildred Ellen Cook age 94, of Chaffee passed away November 6, 2016 at The Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.

She was born on August 22, 1922 in Lutesville, MO to the late Carria and Bertha Shell Null. She married Raymond Cook on November 15, 1941 and he preceded her in death on February 13, 2011.

Mildred was a homemaker. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Chaffee. She was a member of the Gold Wingers Christian Motorcyclist Association.

Survivors include two sons, Kenneth (Diane) Cook of Chaffee; James Cook of Scott City; one daughter, Leanne (Fred) Flook of Benton; eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.

Friends may call after 11:00 am until time of service on Tuesday, November 8, 2016 at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee.

Funeral Service will be at 1:30 pm at the chapel with Rev. Gwen Streeter officiating. Burial will be at Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, MO.
