Patricia Hamby

Patricia Ann Hamby, 88 left this world on Sunday, November 13, 2016 at the Heartland Care and Rehab in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. She was born February 1, 1928 in Carrollton, Michigan to Melvina and Irvin Sanburn. She married Jim Harold Hamby in 1957. He preceded her in death in 2014.

Pat was an auditor for the state of Michigan.

Survivors includes a stepson, Jim (Margaret) Arteme of Benton; a stepdaughter, Diana (Rick) Corman of Summerville, South Carolina; a grandson, Tommy (Michele) Arteme of Scott City; granddaughters, Amy (Chris) Moore of St. Louis and Danielle (Travis) Mercer of Summerville, South Carolina; great grandsons Joah, Nolan and Logan Moore of St. Louis and Drake and Maverick Arteme of Scott City; a brother-in-law, Robert (Eulia) Hamby of Sikeston; two sisters-in-law, Toni and Shirley Sandburn of Saginaw, Michigan and a nephew, Ronald Eurick of Saginaw, MI.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert and Jack Sandburn and a sister, JoAnn Eurick.

The outstanding care from Crown Hospice and staff of Heartland Care and Rehab and the Autumn Court was greatly appreciated by the family.

A private graveside memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday at the Missouri Veteran’s Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri with pastor, Elijah Allen officiating.
