Maggie Senn

Monola “Maggie” Senn of Scott City passed away in Columbia, MO on November 17, 2016 at the age of 102 after a long illness. Maggie was born on June 27, 1914 in Holcomb, Missouri to Edward and Zelma Summers Eakins. She married Willie Senn on January 21, 1933 in Jackson, Missouri. He preceded her in death on November 10, 1957.

Monola was a long time member of the Illmo Baptist Church, Ladies VFW and a member of the German Evangelical Cemetery Association of Dutchtown, MO. Maggie will be remembered lovingly by all for her quilts and chicken and dumplings.

She is survived by her children, Mildred Stull, Doris (David) Crites, Verna Anyon, Gary (Toni) Senn and Larry (Pearl) Senn; her siblings, Rosie (Rudy) Dryer, Louella (Joe) Fiegel, Virgie Kies, Oma Dell Clark, Claude (Faye) Eakins and Scott Eakins Grizzel;17 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren and 17 great great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; three, brothers Carl, Cecil and Louis Eakins and three sisters Lillian Eakins, Hazel Hennecke and Erma (Frank) Ellinger.

Visitation will be from 4:00 – 8:00 pm on Sunday, November 20, 2016 at the Amick-Burnett Chapel in Scot City.

Funeral service will be at 10:00 am on Monday, November 21, 2016 at the chapel with Pastor Mike Shupert officiating.

Burial will be in the German Evangelical Church Cemetery in Dutchtown.

In lieu of flowers a donation can be made to the German Evangelical Church Cemetery of Dutchtown maintenance fund.
