Barbara Mae Garrett, 69 of Benton, Missouri died Monday, December 05, 2016 at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau. She was born May 31, 1947 in Illmo, Missouri to Eugene and Bessie Irene Stone Burton. She married Lester Lee Garrett on February 11, 1966.

Barbara is survived by her husband, Lester; a son, Jim Garrett of Benton; three daughters, Cindy Ann Joyce and Angela Renee Morefield of Benton and Leslie Ann (Shawn) Warren of Sikeston; a brother, Jim (Pat) Burton of Scott City; a sister, Margie (Maurice) Schlosser of Scott City and nine grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her parents, a brother and three sisters.

Visitation will be from 11:00 am until the time of service on Wednesday at Amick-Burnett Chapel in Scott City.

Funeral service will be at 1:00pm on Wednesday at the chapel with her grandson, Jesse Venable officiating.

Burial will be in Lightner Memorial Cemetery in Scott City.
