Cletus Menz

Cletus P. Menz age 84, of New Hamburg passed away Sunday, December 11, 2016 at his family home.

He was born March 12, 1932 in New Hamburg to the late Leo Jacob and Emeline Josephine Urhahn Menz. He married Dorothy C. Heisserer on April 4, 1959 and she survives of the home.

Cletus was a retired construction worker by day then came home to his favorite job of working on the family farm. He was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church of New Hamburg. Cletus served his country in the United State Army during the Korean War.

Survivors include his wife Dorothy; three sons Danny (Kathy) Menz of New Hamburg; Kevin Menz of Jackson; Terry J. Menz of Scott City; two daughters, Sharon Owens and Joyce (Wade) Owens both of Cape Girardeau; eleven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by four sisters and one brother.

Friends may call after 4:00 pm on Sunday, December 18, 2016 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in New Hamburg. Parish Prayers will be at 7:00 pm.
