Jack Engram

Jack Engram, Jr. age 91 of Oran passed away Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at Southeast Missouri Health in Cape Girardeau.

He was born August 23, 1925 in Spadra, Arkansas to the late Jack Sr. and Lillian Estell Moore Engram. He married Leta M. McCoy on December 2, 1947 and she survives of the home.

Jack was a retired self-employed farmer. He later went to work and retired from Nestle Purina in Bloomfield, Missouri. He was a member of Church of Christ in Vanduser, Missouri. Jack served his country in the United States Army during World War II.

Survivors include his wife Leta; a daughter Nadine (John) Arbuckle of Oran; a brother Ollie Hamilton of Illinois; a sister Bonnie Estes of Jackson; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by a son Bradley A Engram; a brother Gerald Engram and a great-grandson Austin Engram.

Friends may call from 9:30 am until 10:15 am on Thursday, December 15, 2016 at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran.

Graveside service will be at 11:00 am on Thursday at Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri with Full Military Honors. Dan Richardson will be officiating.
