Gracie Givens

She was born April 3, 1922 to the late Lawrence and Lou Surface McCulley.

Gracie worked for Advance Shoe Factory in Advance Missouri for five years. She also worked for and retired from Superior Electric in Cape Girardeau. After retirement she worked part-time for the Delta Schools. Gracie was a member of New Life Full Gospel Church in Scott City.

Survivors include her, son Jerry Wayne Givens of Scott City; two daughters Lela Lorine Welker of Chaffee and Debra Jean Anglin of Gipsy; fourteen grandchildren; forty-nine great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by two sons Richard Leon Givens and James Leon Givens; two daughters Martha Lou Dunn and Stella Louise Taylor; five brothers and three sisters.

Friends may call after 11:00 am until time of service at 2:00 pm on Monday, December 19, 2016 at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee with Rev. Jack Owens assisted by Gene Peacock officiating. Burial will be at Kenyon Cemetery in Delta.
