Faye Sanders

Faye Sanders, age 93, of Chaffee passed away Sunday, Jan. 22, 2017, at the home.
She was born on Feb. 4, 1923 in Perkins, Missouri, to Simon Peter and Elise Jennings Huey. She married Earl J. Sanders on Jan. 29, 1946, in Benton, Missouri, and he preceded her in death on Nov. 6, 1998.
Faye was a member of First Assembly of God of Jackson, where she taught Sunday school classes and was active in Women’s Ministries. She also attended First Christian Church of Chaffee.
Survivors include a son, Robert E. Sanders of Whitewater; two daughters, Phyllis Faye Sanders-Kiser and Sally Jo Sanders, both of Chaffee, and a brother, Merrill Ray Huey of Madison, Illinois. Additional survivors include four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Faye was preceded in death by her parents; husband; three sons, Richard, Huey Patrick and John Mark Sanders; six brothers, Emerson, Emit, Joe, Simon, Dorris and Dennis Huey; a granddaughter and a son-in-law.
There will be no services. Interment will be in Union Park Cemetery in Chaffee.
Arrangements are being provided by Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee.
