Raymond Sauceda, 70 of Sikeston formerly of Oran, Missouri died Sunday, January 22, 2017 at the Convalescent Center in Sikeston, Missouri. He was born March 3, 1946 in Nixon, Texas to Vidal and Susie Valdez Sauceda.
He was kitchen manager for 25 years at Lamberts Cafe in Sikeston. He was a member of Guardian Angel Catholic Church in Oran.
He is survived by two sons, Roger Turner of Sikeston and Raymond Lynn Sauceda of Gulf Port, Mississippi; a daughter, Denise Bennett of Dexter, Missouri; four brothers, Eliso Sauceda, John Sauceda and Tommy Romas all of Oran and Vidal Sauceda Jr. of Benton; six sisters, Mary Brown and Lupee Freeze both of Red Banks, Mississippi, Josie Turner and Betty Guzman both of Morley, Dora Graham of Sikeston and Sandra Doles of Oran; nine grandchildren, Davin Hays, Gage Turner, Emma Turner, Jasmine Sauceda, Sean Sauceda, Suzanne Sauceda, Nicholas Burns, Dalton Bean, Marissa Leibowitz and three great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and four brothers.
Friends may call from 9:00 am on Thursday at the Amick-Burnett Chapel in Oran.
Funeral mass will be at 11:00 am on Thursday at the Guardian Angel Catholic Church in Oran with Rev. Randy Tochtrop as celebrant.
Burial will be in Guardian Angel Cemetery in Oran.
