Florence Anderson

Florence Ann Anderson, age 92, of Oran passed away Monday, January 23, 2017 at Jackson Manor in Jackson, Missouri.

She was born on July 22, 1924 in Tacoma, Washington to the late Marion Allen and Jewel Elizabeth Carey Reed. She married Rev. G. Earl Anderson on December 12, 1942 and he preceded her in death on September 13, 1989.

Florence was a retired seamstress from the Oran Hat Factory. She was a homemaker. She was of the Pentecostal faith. Florence was a Sunday school teacher and also spoke at many different Pentecostal Churches.

Survivors include a son Scott (Shirley) Anderson of Jackson; Nancy (Richard) Upchurch of Lamesa, Texas; two grandchildren, April Upchurch of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; Adrian Anderson of Jackson.

She was also preceded in death by an infant brother and two sisters, Jewell Elizabeth Reed and Mary Alice Eakin.

Friends may call after 4:00 pm on Thursday, January 26, 2017 at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran.

Funeral service will be at 11:00 am on Friday at the Chapel with Rev. Gene Warren officiating. Burial will be at Forest Hill Memorial Gardens Cemetery near Morley, Missouri.
