Bobby Phillips

Bobby Gene Phillips, age 40, of Benton passed away Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at his family home.

He was born on August 13, 1976 in Cape Girardeau to James and Carla Walter Phillips. He married Melonie Ann Wehmeyer on September 14, 2002 and she survives of the home.

Bobby was a welder with Viking – Cives Midwest in Morley, MO. He was a member of Oran First Baptist Church in Oran. He served in the United States Navy from 1995 - 1999. Bobby was a Volunteer Fireman with Oran Fire Department.

Survivors include his wife Melonie Phillips of Benton; parents James (Step- Mom Tammy) Phillips of Benton; Carla (Step-Dad Benny) Ray of Oran; a son, Isaac Phillips; a daughter, Sarah Phillips both of Benton; three brothers, James (Olivia) Phillips of Glen Allen, MO; Kelly (Amy) Phillips of Oran; Kenneth (Maythe) Ray of St. Louis, MO; two sisters Cathryn (Mike) Gramlisch of Randles, MO; Leslie (Mark) Chapman of Evansville, IN; thirty-one nieces and nephews; eight great-nephews and nieces.

Friends may call after 11:00 am on Monday, January 30, 2017 at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran.

Funeral Service will be at 1:00 pm at the chapel with Rev. David Thompson officiating. Burial will be at 3:00 pm on Monday at Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, MO with Full Military Honors.
