Marceline "Granny" Butler

Marceline T. “Granny” Butler, 89 of Scott City died Thursday, February 09, 2017 at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. She was born July 23, 1927 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri to Daniel Franklin and Geraldine W. Wilson Jones.

She worked 14 years as a telephone operator for Southwestern Bell.

Granny is survived by a daughter, Teresa (Kenneth) Glasser of Scott City; four grandchildren, Marceline Stone, Misty Dempsey, Krystal Anderson and David Glasser; 13 great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday at the Scott City First Family and Youth Worship Center in Scott City, Missouri with Rev. Larry Rouse officiating.
