Leta Marvene Engram

Marvene Engram, age 87, of Oran, Missouri passed away Sunday, March 12, 2017 at Southeast Missouri Health.

She was born on October 14, 1929 in Jerusalem, Arkansas to the late Marvin and Zelma Jones McCoy. She married Jack Engram Jr. on December 12, 1947and he preceded her in death on December 13, 2016.

Marvene was a retired machine operator from Mad Hatters in Oran she also worked at Thorngate, LTD in Chaffee, International Hat in Oran, and Florsheim Shoe in Cape Girardeau. She was a member of Church of Christ in Vanduser, Missouri.

She was also preceded in death by a son, Bradley Engram; a great-grandson, Austin Engram; two brothers, Quenton and Darrel McCoy; a sister, Mary Jo McCoy.

Survivors include a daughter, Nadine (John) Arbuckle of Oran; two brothers, Kenneth McCoy of Lee Summitt, Missouri and Benton McCoy of Colona, Illinois; three sisters, Dee Etta Moore of Adrian, Missouri; Linda Summer of Tahlequah, Oklahoma; Brenda Lappin of Springfield, Missouri; seven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren and two step-grandchildren.

Friends may call after 9:00 am until 10:15 am on Friday, March 17, 2017 at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran.

Graveside Service will be at 11:00 am on Friday, at Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri with Dan Richardson officiating.

In Lieu of flowers memorial may be made to St. Jude Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.
