Larry Dale Gadberry

Larry Dale Gadberry, age 70, of Oran passed away Friday, March 24, 2017 at his family home.

He was born on July 14, 1946 in Russellville, Arkansas to the late William and Minnie Terry Gadberry.

Larry was a retired river boat assistant engineer with Marquette Transportation in Cairo, Illinois. He was in the United States Army serving in Germany and Spain.

Survivors include three sons, Wesley (Rhonda) Gadberry of Bowling Green, Kentucky; David Gadberry of Warrenton, Missouri; Joseph Chaney of Poplar Bluff; a brother, Terry (Pamela) Gadberry of Oran; two sisters, Linda Simpson of Oran and Judy (Eugene) Magee of Sikeston; two granddaughters, Georgia Gadberry of Bowling Green and Gabrielle Gadberry of Warrenton; numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends may call after 5:00 pm until time of service at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran with Rev. Robert Smithey officiating.

Burial will be at Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield at 11:00 am on Wednesday with full military honors.
