Billy Joe Farris
He was born on October 2, 1937 in Steele, Missouri to the late Joe Wheeler and Buna Daisy Boley Farris. He married Catherine J. Bickings on July 25, 1959 and she preceded him in death on November 5, 2011.
Billy was a retired truck driver for Truck Transport in Scott City, Missouri. He was a member of the NRA, the Teamsters Union and International Bureau of Electrical workers.Survivors include two sons, Fred (Jeannie) Farris of Randles; Bill G. Farris of Chaffee; a sister, Dorothy (Freeman) Dever of Paragould, Arkansas; one grandson, Sam McClard of Clarksville, Tennessee.
He was also preceded in death by a brother, Donald Farris and a sister, Sandra Farrow.Friends may call after 4:00 pm on Wednesday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee.
Funeral Service will be at 10:00 am on Thursday at the Chapel with Rev. Gary Burns. Burial will be at Williams Cemetery in Perkins, Missouri.
