Danny Bollinger

Danny Kaye Bollinger, 69 of Benton, Missouri died Thursday, June 1, 2017 at his home. He was born March 12, 1948 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri to Albert F. and Jean Milam Bollinger. He married LaDonna Kay Bollinger on December 28, 1966. Danny was retired from the U.S. Air Force. He was a member of Cape County Cowboy Church and the American Legion in Benton.

Danny is survived by his wife; his mother, Jean Bollinger of Benton; two brothers, Donald (Barbara) Bollinger of Benton and Bob (Sherry) Bollinger of Scott City; a sister, Mary (Steve) Hitt of Scott City; a daughter-in-law, Traci Bollinger of Benton; two granddaughters, Whitney (Shannon) Brown and Callie (Cory) Borders of Benton and five great grandchildren, Adam, Sophie and Winter Brown and Cordyn and Colter Borders.

He was preceded in death by his father; a son, Danny Bollinger II and a brother, Roger Bollinger.

Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 pm on Sunday at the Amick-Burnett Chapel in Benton.

Funeral service will be at 10:00 am on Monday at the chapel with Rev. Jim Matthews officiating.

Burial will be in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield with full military honors.
