Bob Mahler

Robert Lee “Bob” Mahler, Jr., 49 of Oran, Missouri died Saturday, July 15, 2017 at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. He was born December 9, 1967 in St. Louis, Missouri to Robert Wayne and Linda Louise Martin Mantia. He married Maxine Elaine Smith on November 15, 1997 in Scott City.

He was a self-employed tattoo artist and had previously worked as a tire Tech at Raben Tire.

He is survived by his wife, Maxine; his mother, Linda Martin of Byrnes Mill, Missouri; two sons, Russel Mahler of Cape Girardeau and Christopher Mahler of Springfield, Missouri; a stepson, Dillion Dougan of Farmington, Missouri; four brothers, Shannon Mantia of Warrenton, Missouri, Chad Mantia of Texas, Roger Hampton of Scott City and Michael Mahler of Mill Springs, Missouri; four sisters, Tammy Mantia of St. Charles, Missouri, Lori Mantia of Florida, Leslie Hampton of Piedmont, Missouri and Kay Issac of Bicknell, Indiana.

He was preceded in death by his father and a sister.

Memorial visitation will be from noon until the time of service on Saturday at the Cornerstone Wesleyan Church in Scott City.

Memorial service will be at 1:00 pm on Saturday at the church with Rev. Tommy Miller officiating.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations go to Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel to assist with funeral expenses.
