Larry Uelsmann

Larry Dean Uelsmann, 69 of Benton, Missouri died Thursday, July 20, 2017 at his home. He was born October 10, 1947 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri to Thomas Andrew and Mary Belle Belk Uelsmann. He married Joyce Marie O’Brien on May 26, 1970.

Larry was the president of Security Bank & Trust. He was a member of Eisleben Lutheran Church in Scott City, Lutheran Home Board, National Guard and the Finance Committee at Eisleben Church.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce; his mother, Mary Uelsmann of Benton; a daughter, Beth Uelsmann Figueroa of Benton; a sister, Shari Napier of Dayton, Ohio and a granddaughter, Lena Marie Figueroa.

Visitation will be from 4:00 – 8:00 pm on Sunday at the Amick-Burnett Chapel in Scott City and from 9:00 am until the time of service on Monday at the Eisleben Lutheran Church.

Funeral service will be at 11:00 am on Monday at the church with Pastor Marty Hasz officiating.

Burial will be in the Eisleben Lutheran Cemetery in Scott City.

Memorials can be made to the Southeast Health Foundation, 1849 Broadway, Cape Girardeau, Missouri 63701 designate to the Patient Experience at the Cancer Center in memory of Larry Uelsmann.
