Betty Russell

Betty Lou Russell, 75, of Dexter, Missouri passed away Thursday, September 7, 2017 at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.

She was born on October 29, 1941 in Fisk, Missouri to the late Bill and Mary Lou Gay Minehart. She married Steve Russell on April 28, 2012 and he survives of the home.

Betty was a retired riverboat cook. She was of the Pentecostal Faith.

She is survived by her husband Steve Russell of Dexter; four sons, John (Julia) Kirk of Benton, Missouri; Sam Kirk of Marble Hill, Missouri; Jody Kirk of Farmington, Missouri; Walter (Deann) Kirk of Chaffee; a daughter Ronda Funk of Goreville, Illinois; fourteen grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by two sisters.

Friends may call after 11:00 am until time of service on Monday, September 11, 2017 at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee.

Funeral Services will be at 1:00 pm on Monday at the Chapel with Rev. Ken Johnson officiating. Burial will be at Pleasant Groves Cemetery in Bell City, Missouri.
