John Niederkorn

Johnathan “John” “JB” Robert Niederkorn, 44 of Chaffee, Missouri died Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at his home. He was born July 14, 1973 in Cape Girardeau to Robert John and Marilyn Jo Messmer Niederkorn. He married Deanna Renee Schuessler April 9, 1994 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.

John was the owner/operator for C & S Excavating and Niederkorn Farms. He attended Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Cape Girardeau. John was an avid hunter, Demo Derby driver and had served on the Scott City Fire Department.

He is survived by his wife, Deanna; his mother, Marilyn (Morris) Welsh of Jackson, Missouri; two sons, Caleb (Natalie Poston) Niederkorn and Seth Niederkorn of the home; a sister, Amy Jo Niederkorn of New Hamburg, Missouri; father- & mother-in-law, Gene (Dorothy) Schuessler of Cape Girardeau.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert “Bob” Niederkorn.

Visitation will be from 4:00 – 8:00 pm on Friday at the Amick-Burnett Chapel in Scott City.

Funeral service will be at 10:00 am on Saturday at the chapel with Rev. Weston Wildauer officiating.

Burial will be in St. Lawrence Cemetery in New Hamburg.
