Lee Cook, 88, of Oran passed away Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at Southeast Health in Cape Girardeau.
He was born on December 31, 1928 in Lamar, Arkansas to the late Boyd Wallace and Beulah Lee Cowell Cook. He married Judy Ann Householder on Feb. 10, 1951 and she survives of the home.
Lee was a retired self-employed farmer. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Morley.
He is survived by two sons, Robert (Teresa) Cook of Morley and Barry (Christy) Cook of Oran; a sister, Doris Hanselman of Oran; eight grandchildren, Shelly (Joe) Bening of Cape Girardeau; Dana (Aaron) Moore of Morley; Kevin Jones of Cape Girardeau; Chad Cook of Oran; Heather (Tray) Brock of St. Louis, Missouri; Lyndsey (Paul) Unterreiner of Jackson; Megan (Cory) Schlosser of Scott City; Molly Cook of Oran; nine great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Leanna Jones.
Friends may call after 10:30 am until time of service on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran.
Funeral Services will be at 1:00 pm on Saturday at the Chapel with Rev. David Thompson officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Morley.
