Joe Latamondeer

Joe Phillip Latamondeer, 67 of East Prairie, Missouri died Monday, January 15, 2018 at the Memorial Hospital of Carbondale in Carbondale, Illinois. He was born February 6, 1950 in East Prairie to William Clovice and Ethel Mae Newcomb Latamondeer. He married Margaretta Ann Wilson on February 7, 1977 in East Prairie. She preceded him in death on December 19, 2011.

He was a truck driver for Pallet Connection in Sikeston.

He is survived by four sons, Jody Latamondeer and Joseph P. Latamondeer of East Prairie, Mikey Jenkins of Elkville, Illinois, Joseph L. Latamondeer of Macon, Missouri; two daughters, Robin Latamondeer of East Prairie and Tammy Pierce of Makanda, Illinois; two brothers, Jimmy Latamondeer of Salt Lake City, Utah and Jack Latamondeer of Salsbury, Missouri; a sister, Brenda Foster of Moberly, Missouri; 18 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by two brothers and seven sisters.

Visitation will be from 9:30 am until time of service on Saturday at Amick-Burnett Chapel in Benton.

Funeral service will be at 11:00 am on Saturday at the chapel with Rev. Mike Johnson officiating.

Burial will be at East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery.
