Freeda Irene Miller

She was born on Feb. 19, 1922 in Tamms, Illinois to the late George and Osee Crocker Harvell. She married James Talmadge Miller on Feb. 20, 1939 and he preceded her in death on Jan. 10, 1987.

Freeda was a member of the Chaffee General Baptist Church in Chaffee. She loved to garden and was a homemaker.

She is survived by a daughter-in-law Virginia Miller of Chaffee; three grandchildren, David (Christi) Miller; Jackie (Mark) Benefield and Shellie (Roger) Seyer all of Chaffee; seven great-grandchildren and ten great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Darrell Miller; three brothers and four sisters.

Friends may call after 4:00 pm on Monday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee.

Funeral Service will be at 10:00 am on Tuesday at the Chapel with Rev. Bob Lewis officiating. Burial will be at McCrites Cemetery at Tamms, Illinois.
