James "Bert" Barnett

James “Bert” Barnett, 87 of Festus, Missouri died March 24, 2018 at St. Anthony’s at DeGreef Hospice House in St. Louis, Missouri. He was born April 2, 1930 in St. Louis, Missouri to James Alfred and Clara Mildred McCommon Barnett. He married Mildred Mable Tiedeman on July 8, 1950 in Arkansas. She preceded him in death on October 19, 2010.

He was an aircraft electrician at Missouri Air National Guard. He was a member Immanuel Lutheran Church in Crystal City.

He is survived by a son, Dennis M. Barnett of St. Ann, Missouri; a daughter, Alice Kuechenmeister of Naples, Florida and a brother, Billy G. Barnett of Scott City.

A graveside service will be held Monday, March 26, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Lightner Cemetery in Scott City with Rev. Kyle Castens officiating.
