Shirley Faye Kitchen

She was born on July 12, 1942 in Lutesville, Missouri to the late Bill and Donna Tankersley Cook. She married William “Bud” Kitchen on October 26, 1960 and he preceded her in death on Aug. 22, 2001.

Shirley was a retired cutter for Columbia Sportswear in Chaffee; she also worked for Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapels for last 22 years. She was a member of the Randles Pentecostal Church in Randles, Missouri. She was a member of Oran Chamber of Commerce and the Oran Optimist Club.

She is survived by two sons, Mike (Lanette) Kitchen of Bernie, Missouri; Ray (Brenda) Cook of Oran; eight grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Donna Pobst Barnes, a grandson, William Michael Kitchen, two brothers and three sisters.

Friends may call after 4:00 pm on Monday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran.

Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am on Tuesday at the Chapel with Rev. Don Leggett, Rev Jeremy Ferguson and Rev. Jim Johnson officiating. Burial will be at Union Park Cemetery.
