Sharon Cassout

Sharon M. Cassout, 75 of Scott City passed away Friday, May 18, 2018 at Saint Francis Hospital in Cape Girardeau. She was born October 22, 1942 to the late Joseph C. and Venita Marie McAtee Wengert. She married Charles Ray “C.R.” Bud Cassout on January 6, 1968. He preceded her in death on December 25, 1991.

She worked at the Lutheran Home for many years.

She is survived by a stepson, Duane Cassout of Monticello, Illinois; two sisters, Debi (Greg) Crawford of Cape Girardeau and Jo A. Hunze of Chesterfield, Missouri; two grandchildren; three nephews and two nieces.

Sharon was preceded in death by three brothers, Larry, Dan & Kevin Wengert.

Friends may call from 10:00 am until the time of service on Tuesday at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.

Funeral service will be at noon at the chapel with Rev. Mike Shupert officiating.

Burial will be in Lightner Cemetery in Scott City.
