Myrime Morrill

Myrime Louise Morrill, 83 of Scott City, Missouri passed away on July 25, 2018 at her home.   She was born January 27, 1935 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri to Thomas Alvin and Josephine Lea Mirgeaux Petitt.  She married Charles Edgar Morrill on June 2, 1951 in Illmo, Missouri. He preceded her in death on May 27, 2004.

She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Scott City, Council of Catholic Women, Parish Home & School, Teens Encounter Christ, Marriage Encounter, Crusillo and was a Girl Scout Leader.

She is survived by two sons, C.J. Morrill and Alan (Carla) Morrill of Scott City; three daughters, Josie (Mike) Camp of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; Paula Yount of Memphis, Tennessee and Teresa (Tim) Enderle of Scott City; six brothers, Tom Petitt  of Marion, Illinois, Jerry Petitt of Paducah, Kentucky, Richard Petitt of Springfield, Missouri,  Bill Petitt and Mike Petitt of Scott City and David Petitt of Chaffee, Missouri; three sisters, Joyce Blattel of Gordonville, Missouri, Shirley Gaither and Lorene Petitt of Scott City; ten grandchildren, Amber, Amanda, Jane, Chloe, Hayden, Claire, Nathan, Andrew, Devin and Hailey; nine great grandchildren, Vanessa, Ashtyn, Domonic, Charlie, Emilia, Jase, Jon, Alli and Bridgett.

Myrime loved her Lord and family above all else.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; her stepmother, Venus Petitt and three grandchildren, Michael David, Angela Hope and Tanner Joseph.

Visitation will be from 4:00 – 8:00 pm on Friday at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Scott City.  Rosary will be at 7:00 pm.

Funeral mass will be at 10:00 am on Saturday at the church with Rev. Michael Casteel as celebrant.

Burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Scott City.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Joseph School, Notre Dame High School and St. Joseph Parish.
