Dot Glueck

Dorothy Mary “Dot” Glueck, 79 of New Hamburg, Missouri died Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.  She was born August 24, 1938 in Glennon, Missouri to Anthony John “Tony” and Rosella Mary Horrell Koenig.  She married Cyril “Cy” John Glueck on June 20, 1959 in Glennon.  He preceded her in death on March 22, 2010.

Dot along with her husband were owner/operator of Schindler’s Tavern in New Hamburg.  She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Jackson, Missouri.

She is survived by a son, Danny “Louie” (Lynette) Glueck of Jackson; three brothers, Eugene Koenig of Edwardsville, Illinois, Emmett Koenig of Lake St. Louis, Missouri and Elmer Koenig of Marble Hill, Missouri and a sister, Berneice DeBrock  of Jackson, Missouri.

She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Gladys Enderle and Janetta Koenig.

Visitation will be from 4:00 – 8:00 pm on Thursday  at the St. Lawrence Catholic Church in New Hamburg.  Parish prayers will be at 7:00 pm.

Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 am on Friday at the church with Rev. John Harth as Celebrant.

Burial will be in St. Lawrence Catholic Cemetery in New Hamburg.
